Audience feedback

This is my audience feed back for my print ad and my digipak. The people I asked were members of my target audience. I think this feedback will help create a better set of products overall.

Photo edits

These are some of my edited photos, I chose to make the background all white so it would be easier to put the backgrounds in the way I wanted them. So far I think that they are turning out ok, and I am on track to have most of the edited photos complete by Thursdays lesson.

These were the best photos from my shoot and I intend to use all of these with in my digipak, print ad etc. I am currently editing these in to the context I would like for my finished products.

digipak draft

I planned out my digipak on photoshop after originally designing it on paper.

Digipak mock ups

These are the mock ups for my digipak, I have decided on having six panels like most other digipaks have, and I have drawn out a draft of what I would like to have on my cover and the others. I have also made a lyrics booklet to help show the different items in my digipak.

Digipak+Print concept

For my digipak I intend to have a theme of escape, based on the lyrics 'I’ve been living in a movie, so make believe, Tired of this script, I was losing me'.
This gave me the idea of Katie and Lisa escaping to a different world, which is all natural. To show this I have decided to have photos of Katie and Lisa pulling curtains back to reveille either nature scenes or different sections of the digipack; like it will show the lyrics booklet and a poster. I think this concept will work really well and it coheres with my print advert and our music video. To help keep these themes together I am going to keep a realistic colour scheme of greens, blues and pinks.

Colour scheme ideas

I want to include different shades of Green in my digipak and print advert, as this will represent the natural side of our music video.
I think having a pale plain background will work best for the covers,  and then I can include some blues and pinks in the inside. Those colours will represent the stage/performance side of the music video.
